LED Bracelet Watch Design

How about we say this one is from the Star Trek franchise? Will you believe that? Of course anyone would do but the truth is it’s neither from Star Trek nor has it been inspired from it. It is a new watch design from the TokyoFlash Design Studio that looks more like a bracelet than a watch.

It looks nice but I wouldn’t say it’s an excellent design. I don’t think it has that x-factor that would make people go all wow once they see this one on your wrist. So, to me it’s just another LED watch design which for sure is unique like most of them but is not something I would die for.

Although I must admit that the designer of this watch must have put his heart and soul into making something that would stand out from the rest. First off, the design is highly amusing (not catchy though). It can make you stare at it for a while until you feel that it’s clumsy. Maybe you won’t feel that way unlike me. The outer lines show the hours whereas minutes are showed in digits like a standard digital watch. So that’s pretty easy right? Once you have this watch you’ll know for sure how easy it is to read time on it.

The best part about this watch that makes it unique is the inclusion of those white edges on both the ends. These white edges highlight the illumination of the LEDs. Well that for sure makes the watch look neat and more exquisite, and probably that’s the only good about it.

I would have loved the watch if the shape wasn’t that bland. They could have made the straps narrower in width than the dial to give it a more elegant look. Right now, it looks like more of a handcuff than a bracelet. The silver and black combination however makes it look a bit good. Still I think there is a lot of room for improvement. It would have been awful to see this watch in one color especially silver.

Helix the New Watch Design Concept

Let’s admit that this is one of the most fascinating and unique watch designs we have seen this year.

It is the brainchild of Logan from USA, and it looks stylish as well has a complete futuristic design. For sure this one makes me feel that LED watches are taking over now. Although I have always thought that LED watches are not for me, such designs and concepts have made me changed my mind. I would love to have one of these for me.

According to Logan, the concept behind this Tokyoflash watch is to have a unique yet simple to use watch. Although it looks difficult, reading time on it is no big deal. The best part about this watch is that the time is displayed in a DNA structure-like way. The blue lines show hours from 1 to 12. Yellow ones show minutes in groups of 5. And the green dots there show single minutes. The beauty is that all these vibrant colors are displayed on a dial which is completely pitch black. They would glow and make the watch look more attractive. Although it looks difficult in the pictures, reading time is pretty easy on the watch. The time increase in one direction and of course the number lights increases too with it.

Earlier some time we saw a similar watch named the Infection watch which looked quite similar as well. We loved that one and we’ll love this one too. Believe it or not, it is a totally fresh concept and is highly attractive and amusing. That small key on the top right of the dial is another adornment to the watch.

Apart from all the functions and features of the watch, it looks stylish and rugged too. Although I don’t really know how tough it is in real, from the pictures I can say it would be sturdy enough to bear normal shocks. The straps I am guessing are made of hard plastic or rubber but I don’t really have a clue on that one. Anyhow, it’s nice to see designers coming up with better designs every day. Good job Logan!

Tell Time in an Innovative Way with LED Flower Watch Design Bloom

The new watch design from Tokyoflash Design Studio truly changes the manner and style of watches forever. The LED Flower Watch Bloom design depicts time in the most unique way of all, with the help of blooming flowers.

This watch, which has no clasp but can be worn like a bangle is more of a jewelry accessory than a watch, which makes it a definite must for those who love such accessories. Added to this is the unique way of which you can tell the time. With this watch, the number of petals depicts the time of the day, with the largest flower showing the hours. It is important to note that each petal denotes one hour, while the circle at the center denotes 6 hours.

The smaller flowers depict the minutes, with the upper flower showing minutes by tens, and the lower one showing minutes in single digits. The circle at the center of the smaller flower in the lower end of the watch denotes five minutes, while the circle at the center of the other smaller flower denotes whether it is morning or evening.

If you’re tired of that old watch and you’re just craving for a switch, boy, do I have the watch for you. The Futuristic Bracelet Watch Design, as the name suggests looks exactly like a bracelet or some funky piece of jewelry, but it’s also a gorgeous never before seen watch!

The Tokyoflash Product Design Studio has designed a watch that is unlike any watch you have ever dreamed of owning. The Futuristic Bracelet Watch Design comes in a variety of funky colors, has a metallic bracelet in place of the strap which means that you will never have to worry about re-adjusting that strap. This watch is not only a unisex fashion friendly design, but since it has such a futuristic vision, there can be no doubt that this will never go out of fashion.

Telling time while using this watch is hard, challenging, and requires that you exercise those grey cells. ‘Hours’ are placed in the upper half of the display with square blocks as indicators, while ‘minutes’ are placed in the lower half of the display with circles as indicators. Both obviously move clockwise, while the circles in the center of the upper half indicate single minutes (1-4) while AM and PM is indicated in the square in the middle of the lower half of the display.

When this watch graces the world with its presence, don’t hesitate to buy one because I think it’s ‘time’ to choose the time piece that makes you think. Don’t you?

Night Vision Key Chain Concept Brings Nothing New!

Well yes that’s right, I would say it’s just an LED watch without straps made like a keychain. What’s new in it? Nothing, honestly! It’s the same old pyramid style LED watch that comes with the same blue lights.

They claim that this watch will be able to bring a change in people’s lives. They won’t need to wear watches, in fact, they would carry them around. I personally think it’s nothing new. You still get a lot of digital and analog keychain watches. So what’s the brag about?

I think a better way of putting it both in terms of marketing as well as in terms of making sense would be to say that it’s just another LED watch functioning as a keychain. There is nothing new about it, but yes, it’s just an alternative. In fact, that’s exactly how the designer himself puts it, then why should we take it to a totally different level? If you remember sometime back we reviewed the Night Vision watch, this one comes with the same dial as well. The only difference is that the lights are now blue instead of green.

Well time reading to me is always an issue on most of the LED watches because of their weird time display. Although, they say this one is pretty easy in terms of time reading, I disagree. A digital or an analog watch would still be much better whatsoever. Anyhow, there are hours displayed on the edges of the dial, whereas the minutes are shown in digital format in the center. That’s the only good part for me, actually. Although the digital minutes look a bit awkward, they are digital at least and not some weird shape forming which we need to figure out to get the right time.

Honestly, rarely any LED watch amuses me. I agree that the designs these days are getting better and much easier for the consumers. LED watches still have a long way to go before they can be adapted by the masses. For now, all LED watch designers… please come up with better designs!

Cinematic Zoom LED Watch Breaks Conventionality Subtly

It is very difficult to break conventionality as far as watches are concerned because of their basic functionality. But still, this very fact seems to have thrown a challenge to designers who are designing new watches everyday, not only looking different but also showing time in their own unique ways. Logan has created a new Tokyoflash watch design Cinematic Zoom LED Watch where the display digits are zoomed in and only a part of the number can be seen. It is not so easy to read time.

Apparently, this stunning black watch with zoomed digits has been inspired by cinematic zooms. It is a very stylish LED watch and will look awesome on any wrist. It will surely get a lot of attention. Logan has in fact designed a brilliant conventional LED watch, but the subtle zoomed-in effect, brightly lit red LED digits, which are partially visible increases the overall unconventional appeal of the watch. It is a very creative thought to zoom in on time for a change.

Two Sided Triangle LED Watch

Now this is what we call a fashionable and chic LED watch. The design was submitted by Leuenberger Stephane from Switzerland and according to her, she focused more on creating a watch that is fashionably attractive instead of being technically attractive like most of the LED watches.

Stephane describes her inspiration by saying that 12 and 9 are multiples of 3 which is the main reason why she went for a triangular shape. And like we said earlier, she wanted the watch to look an elegant fashionable watch instead of looking like a Star Trek gadget.

The watch is double-sided meaning both the front and the back can display time. One side is pink in color while the other is green. I completely agree that the watch looks like a fashion accessory and that’s the best part about it. All you girls out there, listen up – you won’t need to wear a hefty watch ever again once this one is out!

This watch, like most of the LED watches, has an alarm, lights, and can show time. Although reading time on it is a bit difficult, once you get acquainted with it, it won’t be a problem I am sure. Another great thing about the watch is that the straps can be changed. You can use the dial (two triangles with the bridge in between) on any strap of your choice. That’s why we call it a fashion accessory. You can make it suit with any of your outfit.

Another great factor that I personally like about this watch is the fact that even though it is a watch, it doesn’t look like one. Once you have it on your wrist, it would appear to others as a fashionable band instead of an LED watch. Isn’t that fun? Imagine, your mates ask you what time is it and you look at your watch (which they think of as a band) and tell them the time. They would be amused, and you would be proud and all smiling. That’s why Stephane created this one – to make all the ladies proud!
