Hello Kitty Stormtrooper: May The Pink Force Be With You!

Little girls and a fair number of boys absolutely adore Hello Kitty and anything to do with her. The cute little kitty with her traditional pink bow-tie is all sugar, spice and everything nice and never wastes a moment to advice kids to be on their best behavior as she mews her way into girls’ lives.

Most adults know cats to be extremely independent and demanding creatures who are so regal they actually believe that they are the masters and their humans the lowly and faithful pets. Hello Kitty, on the other hand, seem to be the epitome of all that is good. Don’t you think she is just way too cool to be true? And, it isn’t true! Hello Kitty finally showed her true colors at ComicCon in San Diego. It turns out that this pretty kitty is actually a Star Wars Stormtrooper working on the dark side.

The Star Wars meets Hello Kitty figure doesn’t look too bad all dressed up in pink, especially with the matching pink helmet complete with protection for her delicate ears, but most Star Wars fans probably wouldn’t appreciate the pinkification of the galaxy. Now that they’ve made a Hello Kitty Stormtrooper, perhaps they might consider making a Jedi Hello Kitty!
