R2D2, the Bathing Suit Edition
We all want to follow the latest fashion but do we actually do it? Think for a while, they say the 21st century is the century of technology and gadgets. Numerous cellphones, laptops, tablet PCs, etc. are released on a daily basis and we do buy them.
But, they just remain as ‘gadgets’ that we use and then dispose off. They don’t get any further than that, do they? I personally think they should. We should depict what we do through our personalities and through what we wear. With that said, I think this R2D2 bathing suit is a chance to show the world that we are a technological population!
The Mayans wore their fashion, a decade back it was the pop culture scene; before that was the grunge scene, but what is in today? Today, we have the technological scene! Everything we do is directly and indirectly linked to technology. Whether we are communicating or we are grabbing the ball of fun, the ‘technological devices are always there’. So, don’t you think they need a little bit of respect and importance from our side? They sure do and that is why this R2D2 bathing suit is here! Be what you do by wearing this bathing suit and show the world that you are proud to be born in the 21st century.
This R2D2 bathing suit is a design from the Australian designer James Lillis. And, he has done a great job…no doubt about that. Particularly what I like about the design is that even though the theme is R2D2, the overall swimsuit looks gorgeous. It’s not one of those funny looking bathing suits that would make you look like an alien on the beach. This one looks gorgeous and can make you look gorgeous as well. On the other hand, it also depicts the technological aspect of our age. While you wear this, you will feel proud in a different way. You will feel proud to represent your ‘today’ while looking at your best. Isn’t that all what we want? To look good yet to be unique? Yup, we all do and I am sure this is the only bathing suit out there that can make you stand out from the crowd.
